On „Shéhérazade” by M. Ravel

"That Scheherazade, brave and wise heroine of Thousand and One Nights was also beautiful, you could immediately find out from the title of the latest Red Cycle concert of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. Titles of Philharmonic’s concerts are most imaginative, and the last concert was called Scheherazade. So that there is no confusion. Numerous composers have also been inspired by Scheherazade’s stories, creating their wordless musical tales. These musical tales were also grabbed by Leopold Hager, a conductor of notable career and frequent guest of the orchestra. Experienced and reliable, he always gives solid performances…”
